To help achieve the priorities of the
Sustainable Community Strategy
and the Local Area Agreements, the LSP is
delivering key projects and activities across the
District.
Six of these projects were funded by the LSP
using Performance Reward Grant. This was funding provided by
the Essex Partnership to help LSP's achieve the priorities in
the
Essex Strategy and the Local Area
Agreement. You can find out

Update
– in June 2010, the Government announced a reduction in the
Performance Reward Grant funding payable for performance on Local
Area Agreements. The result for district LSP’s was a
reduction in the Performance Reward Grant funding provided by the
Essex Partnership to fund local projects during April 2009 to March
2011. The Braintree District LSP has managed this reduction
by allocating the existing funding to three district priority
projects and agreeing the early closure of two projects and the
withdrawal of funding from a Mid Essex project. Further
information on the impact of the Performance Reward Grant funding
reduction on the LSP’s projects is detailed on the individual
project pages.
The Thematic Partnership Boards are also
delivering a variety of other projects and activities. These
range from the Crucial Crew Roadshow delivering personal safety
education to Year 6 students, to a Procurement Event for voluntary
and community groups, to a Welcome Guide for all new residents
moving into the District.

projects and activities

The Partnership Boards monitor the delivery and
performance of their projects and activities and report this on a
regular basis to the Steering Group - see the
'Performance Page' for more
information on this reporting process.
